British Orienteering announced today that Alison Sloman (HOC) had won the 2019 Trophy for “best contribution to mapping”. Read more, including Alison’s reaction, here. Congratulations!

As a result of the COVID 19 outbreak, this event is postponed to a future date towards the end of the year. Entry fees will be returned via the Fabian4 system.
The Organiser’s Course and Event Safety and Welfare Workshop scheduled for 28th March has been postponed until the Autumn, due to low numbers attending. Information about who needs to have attended these courses is here.
It has not been possible to arrange a heat to replace the Postensplain event which was cancelled due to storm Dennis. So, all the clubs from the WMOA round can go direct to the Final – 18th October, Sutton Park hosted by Octavian Droobers.

Unfortunately, Storm Dennis has beaten us. The Forestry Commission have withdrawn permission for the event because of concerns about the weather this weekend. More information about what will happen regarding the CSC/T heat when we’ve had a chance to look at the options.
After three events, Chasers are now in the lead with Droobers hot on their heels, while Harlequins and Wrekin battle it out for third. There is now a break in the league fixtures but club rivalry hots up this weekend with the CompassSport Cup and Trophy heat.
