West Midlands Juniors selected for training camps, orienteering tours and international competitions are invited to submit a request for assistance towards their expenses to the WMOA Treasurer (contact details here). The usual contribution is 20% of the cost of the trip. This includes travel costs where Juniors are making their own way, but not group travel. There is a limit of £100 per grant with possible exceptions for JWOC and EYOC. (from March 2025).

Members applying to the WMOA for a grant could also consider approaching their club, and The Orienteering Foundation which funds individuals, groups and projects that meet key objectives.
